HOW TO REGISTER TO TAKE THE ACT

To sign up for the ACT, go to MyACT to create a free account, choose your test date and location, upload a recognizable photo, and pay the test fee. Regular registration deadlines are usually about five weeks before each test date, and you should set aside 35 to 45 minutes to finish the online form

Step-by-Step Registration Guide

  • Create an account: Go to the ACT Sign-In Page to set up your free MyACT account.
  • Select testing details: Choose whether you are testing in the U.S. or internationally, pick your test date, and choose a test center location.
  • Choose your options: Decide if you want to add the optional Writing test or other add-ons.
  • Enter background info: Connetquot High School (330449), 190 7th Street, Bohemia, NY  11716 and choose up to four colleges to receive your score reports for free.
  • Upload your photo: Submit a clear headshot that meets the photo ID requirements.
  • Submit payment: Pay the standard exam fee with a credit card or apply a qualified fee waiver, then print your admission ticket.
