CLASS OF 2027

Class of 2027 Senior Parking Permits:

1. You must be a SENIOR and have a NYS Class D drivers license to apply for a Senior Parking Permit.
2. Class of 2027 Senior Parking Permit Agreement/Application is available in the Class of 2027 Documents folder.
   • Any senior who paid to paint a parking space must submit an application for a SENIOR PARKING PERMIT.
3. We will begin accepting the CLASS OF 2027 PARKING PERMIT AGREEMENT FORM on the following dates:
   • Wednesday, August 26^th from 8AM to 12PM (Entrance to the building from the Senior Parking Lot)
   • Thursday, August 27^th from 8AM to 12PM (Main Entrance Security Desk)
   • Friday, August 28^th from 8AM to 12PM (Main Entrance Security Desk)
   • Thereafter: During the school year Senior Parking Permit Agreements can be submitted at the Security Desk located at the Senior Parking Lot Entrance Door from period 1 through period 5.

• If you missed having your SENIOR PORTRAIT taken back in July or would like to have your portait retaken, Island Photography will be back at Connetquot High School on the following dates:

Class of 2027 SENIOR PARKING SPOT PAINTING WILL TAKE PLACE ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26TH, 2026 FROM 8AM TO 1PM.  

• In the event of inclement weather, Thursday, August 27^th is the alternative date from 8AM TO 1PM.

This event is only for a SENIOR who has paid and submitted a parking space design that has been approved by Ms. Piscitelli or Mr. Piscitelli.

You are reminded of the following:

• NO PAINTING outside of your designated parking space.
• DO NOT paint the curb OR the white lines that seperate parking spaces.
• DO NOT PAINT OVER THE PARKING SPACE NUMBER.

CLASS OF 2027 SENIOR PARKING SPOT PAINTING – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Senior Parking Spot Painting is a CHS Student Government fundraiser.

The fee to select and paint a parking space is $40.00. Payment is optional. You do NOT have to pay this fee to park in the Senior Parking Lot. This fee is only for students who wish to select and paint a personalized parking space.

PAINTING DETAILS

• Date: Wednesday, August 26, 2026
• Rain Date: Thursday, August 27, 2026
• Time: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Students who pay the fee will be assigned a parking space to paint during this time.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

Students must still submit a separate application for a Senior Parking Tag. Participating in parking spot painting does NOT automatically grant permission to park in the Senior Parking Lot.

SENIOR PARKING TAG INFORMATION

Applications for Senior Parking Tags will be available beginning the week of August 24, 2026. Students must possess a valid NYS Class D License to apply. Parking spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Exception: Students who pay for and paint a parking spot will retain that assigned space once they receive their parking tag.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR A STUDENT WITH A NYS JUNIOR DRIVERS LICENSE (CLASS DJ):

• Per the NYS GRADUATED LICENSE LAWS (LONG ISLAND REGION) - Any person with a NYS Class DJ drivers license cannot drive to or from the high school without a parent or guardian in the vehicle.

Parking on the student parking lot on school grounds is a Senior Privilege and requires a NYS Class D drivers license.
