BTC | MTC Schedule Information

AM Session: 7:45 AM to 10:15 AM
PM Session: 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM

Bus transportation is provided from the high school to the technical center sites.

Please refer to the BTC | MTC transportation schedule below:

AM Session Departure Times From CHS:

BTC – estimated departure from CHS is 7:15 AM
MTC – estimated departure from CHS is 7:20 AM
CHS bus pick-up is located in the bus parking lot by the Music Doors

AM Session Return Times to CHS:

BTC – estimated return to CHS at 10:45 AM (period 5)
MTC – estimated return to CHS at 10:38 AM (period 5)

PM Session Departure Times From CHS:

BTC – estimated departure: 11:30 AM (period 6)
MTC – estimated departure: 11:45 AM (period 6)
CHS bus pick-up is located outside the cafeteria patio gate

PM Session Return Time to CHS:

Approximately 3:00 PM

Eastern Suffolk BOCES CTE Program: Two-Hour Delay

If there is a two-hour delayed opening, Connetquot’s AM BOCES CTE program participation will be canceled for the day. Your child’s absence will be excused.

Students should report to Connetquot High School, where they will be housed until their first regularly scheduled class period.

This information will also be included in the official delay notice and any follow-up communication from CHS.

Reminder: AM BOCES Student Drop-Off Procedures Upon Return to CHS

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

This message is a reminder for students who attend the AM BOCES sessions at Milliken Technical Center (MTC) and Bixhorn Technical Center (BTC) regarding procedures when returning to Connetquot High School.

Upon arrival back at CHS, students are dropped off by the bus at the CAFETERIA PATIO GATE. At that time, students will enter the cafeteria for lunch.

Please note that students are not permitted to go to their vehicles in the student parking lot upon returning to campus.

Estimated AM BOCES Return Times to CHS:

MTC: Approximately 10:38 AM (Period 5)
BTC: Approximately 10:45 AM (Period 5)

Students should ensure that all necessary school materials and supplies are stored in their assigned school lockers so they have access to them when they return to the building.

Please note that this is not a new procedure. These expectations were reviewed with students during the BOCES Orientation held in September.

JUNE 2026 BOCES CALENDAR FOR STUDENTS WHO ATTEND BTC | MTC

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

The following information is for Connetquot High School students who attend the Eastern Suffolk BOCES Gary D. Bixhorn Technical Center (BTC) or Edward J. Milliken Technical Center (MTC).

Please note that the last day of classes for students attending BTC and MTC is Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Connetquot High School will continue to provide transportation to both technical centers through June 16^th.

Important Dates:

Wednesday, June 10, 2026
Monday, June 15, 2026
Tuesday, June 16, 2026

Students attending BTC and MTC will have regularly scheduled Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes on the dates listed above. The following transportation procedures will be in place.

AM BOCES Students (BTC/MTC):

AM BOCES students should arrive at Connetquot High School using their regularly scheduled morning transportation and may then take the BOCES bus to their assigned technical center.

Transportation Options

Students may provide their own transportation to school.
Only seniors with valid parking permits may park on school grounds.

Bus Transportation

Students may utilize their regularly scheduled morning bus transportation to the high school.
Upon returning to Connetquot High School from BTC/MTC, students should report to the cafeteria.
At approximately 11:00 a.m., students will be transported home.
To identify bus routes and bus stop locations please utilize the 3:55 PM Late Bus Schedule.

PM BOCES Students (BTC/MTC):

PM BOCES students will follow a delayed arrival schedule to Connetquot High School.

Transportation Options

Students may provide their own transportation to school.
Only seniors with valid parking permits may park on school grounds.

Bus Transportation

Students requiring transportation should report to their bus stops at 10:30AM utilizing the 3:55 PM Late Bus Schedule.

To identify bus routes and bus stop locations please utilize the 3:55 PM Late Bus Schedule.

Upon arrival at Connetquot High School, students should report to the cafeteria.
Students will then depart for their technical center on their regularly scheduled BOCES buses:
- BTC Bus Departure: 11:30 AM.
- MTC Bus Departure: 11:45 AM.
Upon returning to Connetquot High School from BTC/MTC at approximately 3:00 p.m., students will take the late bus home.
