3rd Marking Period begins on Monday, January 26, 2026.

  • Please be mindful of absences to avoid any issues or concerns with losing course credit.

Parking at Connetquot High School:

Parking on the Connetquot High School campus is a SENIOR PRIVILEGE and you must have a CHS Parking Tag. This tag is available through the CHS Security Office after completing a parking application.

  • SENIORS WHO ARE REPORTED DRIVING RECKLESSLY IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WILL LOSE THE PRIVILEGE TO PARK IN THE SENIOR PARKING LOT.

Only SENIORS with a New York State Class D driver’s license can apply for a parking tag. Please note, a Class D License is issued only to people 18 years of age or older or to a person who is 17 years of age and has successfully completed an approved Driver Education course and received your certificate of completion. By law, you cannot drive to school with a Junior License (Class DJ).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR A STUDENT WITH A NYS JUNIOR DRIVERS LICENSE (CLASS DJ):

THERE IS NO COST OR FEE TO submit a Senior Parking Application, but you must have a NYS Class D Driver's License to qualify for a parking permit.

  • ALL seniors who submit a parking application and receive a parking tag will be assigned a specific parking space number.

PARKING TAGS MUST BE DISPLAYED FROM YOUR REARVIEW MIRROR WHEN YOU PARK ON SCHOOL GROUNDS. Violators will receive a warning. Ongoing issues may result in loss of parking privileges.

If you are identified parking on school grounds without a valid parking tag you can be prohibited from parking on school grounds in the future.

  • JUNIORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PARK ON SCHOOL GROUNDS

Please contact the Grade 12 Office if you have any questions.
