Forensic criminologists share their expertise with CHS business students

As part of the Work Based Learning program, Dr. Goodman and Dr. Manning recently spoke with Connetquot High School’s business classes, providing students with valuable insight into the field of forensic criminology. Their presentations highlighted the importance of analytical thinking, investigative skills, and effective communication in this dynamic profession.
Dr. Goodman is an associate professor in the Criminal Justice degree program at St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. She also hosts the iHeartRadio podcast Crime Time with Dr. Debbie, where she discusses high-profile crimes and cases with experts in crime, law, and justice.
Dr. Manning holds a B.S. in Psychology, an M.A. in Forensic Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology. Her work includes forensic interviewing, preparing reports for judicial proceedings, and coordinating with law enforcement agencies.
